ISSJには、大人になった養子の方から生みの親に会いたいと問い合わせが入ることがあります。ルーツ探しの相談では、決して全ての養子や親族が再会までたどり着けるわけではありません。そんな中、ハワイで育った養子の男性が47年ぶりに生母に会うことができました。感動の実話が、朝日新聞に取り上げられましたのでご紹介します。

ISSJ assists adult adoptees for their tracing and searching journey. One of the adoptees of ISSJ who grew up in Hawaii had a dramatic reunion with his birth mother after 47 years. This touching story was also covered by Asahi Newspaper, one of Japan’s leading newspaper companies.
