With a worldwide network, International Social Service Japan (ISSJ), as its motto  "Extending Caring Hands Across the National Boundaries" shows, focuses on the social welfare issues of children. ISSJ provides assistance beyond nationalities, religions and customs, based on the idea, "All Men are Equal", to the people suffering from the problems of welfare and the human right when there are two or more countries involved. 

ISSJ has provided casework services and counseling to solve problems maintaining close relationships with its Headquarters in Geneva, branch offices in 20 countries and the correspondents in more than 100 countries.

By the working agreement with the Department of Social Welfare and Development of the Philippines (DSWD), ISSJ also has been providing and promoting services between the two countries.
