Report on the International Cooperation Festival 2000

An International Cooperation Festival was held in Hibiya Park on October 7-8, 2000. ISSJ participated in this event in order to introduce our activities, especially our Cambodian Project, to many people. Over 100,000 people came to the park during this event to visit various booths, concert place, eating houses, etc. Being the first time for us to participate, we ISSJ were overwhelmed by this animated atmosphere. Many visited ISSJ booth and bought Cambodian Project goods and ethnic fabrics. They earnestly asked many questions about our activities. We really felt their keen interest in the international cooperation.

This time many students from Japan Lutheran College and Sophia University participated as volunteers to work as sales staff of our booth. We truly appreciated the cooperation given by the enthusiastic young people. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to you for your kind support during this Festival.
